MeridaMerida Head

Merida is a pretty, young red and black female approximately 2 years old. She came to us from a local shelter, so little is known of her background aside from the fact that she recently had a litter of puppies. The shelter has placed her pups in homes and now it's her turn to find her forever home.

Merida is on the petite side at about 65 lbs, but still needs to put on some weight. This sweet girl is quickly adapting to all of the new experiences that living indoors has to offer. She is living with 3 other German Shepherds in her foster home. Initially, she seemed intimidated by the other dogs. She is now comfortable with her pack-mates, but still prefers the company of her human. She has not quite adapted to the doggie door, but she will wait to be taken outside when needed and has not had any accidents in the house.

This affectionate, gentle girl is a prefect lady in the house - she loves to lounge on the dog bed in her foster mom's room. She is on the shy side, so she will also often go to her open crate when she's ready to relax. While still a bit reserved indoors, when she is out exploring the world she really seems to be at the top of her game! She loves going on car rides and walks, but will benefit from continued training and socialization.

Cats and small critters unknown.
