Penelope

Penelope aka Penny is a petite 60 lb. red and black female approximately 18 months old. She has adorable airplane ears.

Penny is housebroken and learned to use a dog door. Being a puppy still, there are some chewing issues which we are working on, but she corrects easily. There are also some things in the house that still startle her. It doesn't appear that she lived in a house prior to her foster placement.

Penny is energetic and runs to chase the squirrels away in the yard. She gets along with the female German Shepherd in the foster home, but really wants another dog to play with.

With the help of a training prong collar, Penny has learned to walk well on a leash. She can be timid in new situations and takes awhile to warm up to new people, so a second dog is needed to help her with her confidence.

Regular exercise and continued socialization will go a long way to see what a great companion Penny can be.

This is a Level 2 Dog.
