Adina

Adina is a black 5 year old, longer coated Shepherd. She was picked up as a stray in the Modesto area, so nothing is known of her background. She came into the Shelter underweight, with a matted coat, and it appeared she had been on her own as a stray for some time. She should fill out to be an 80 pound girl.

Adina is calm, sweet, and quiet mannered. She walks well on leash, and is moderately receptive to learning new commands such as "sit", "stay", "heel", and "bed". It appears she was not in a house until she came into rescue, but is quickly becoming a house princess. She is currently in a foster home with two other dogs, and two kids and has had no problems. Adina is somewhat interested in the pet rabbit, but will leave it alone with a firm "no".

Adina is looking for a home with secure fencing, as her days as a stray still lead her to want to wonder the neighborhood if given the opportunity. A family that would include her in daily activities and continue her basic training is also needed to help her grow to her full potential.
