Baxley

Baxley is a 1 year old male. He was a stray from the Modesto area, so nothing is known of his background.

This cutie is only about 65 lbs, but has a big puppy heart. He will happily chase a ball, returning it to you and sitting for the next throw. He loves to play in water and with other dogs. While he doesn't mean any harm to cats, he can be quite the playful pest to them, even when they don't run.

Baxley is lovable and happy with people, and is learning that he cannot be a lap dog. He still picks up anything he finds, but he is getting better about dropping them and finding a toy to chew. With supervision and a few chew toys, he is improving his house manners.

Baxley would be great for a home with older children, another playful dog, and a family to teach him and play with him. He seeks attention from people, but does fine outside with another dog. He is a fun dog to have around.

He is housebroken and sleeps in a crate at night.
