Bongo

Bongo is a 2 year old boy weighing about 48 lbs with a shiny, soft black and tan coat. He was adopted as a puppy from our rescue, but returned recently when the family didn't have enough time for him.

Currently living in a home with two cats, a female German Shepherd, a 25 lb terrier mix and children, Bongo adores everyone and everything. He has nice house manners and follows the foster mom like her shadow. When left alone, Bongo barks loudly. He is learning the "no barking" command, but it will take time to break him of his barking habit.

Bongo is young and energetic. He would benefit in an active household to help burn up some of his energy and tire him out. He loves diving into the pool and going for a swim. He would make a good dock diving contestant. He also likes to play fetch and is overall a fun loving dog. Bongo would do best in a home with someone around most of the time, as he doesn't like being alone. At night, Bongo is sleeping through the night on a blanket next to the foster mom's bed.
