Bud

Adopted 6/21/08 and living on a dog's paradise in Jackson, CA.

Bud is a big boy - a big boned, big hearted, big charmer! Big at 90 lbs and in need of a diet and exersize plan. Bud came to us when his owner died and he ended up at the shelter. Due to some premature grey, no one wanted to give this big sweetheart a chance. But he is only 5 years old with lots of energy and love to give to a new family.

In his former life, he was not allowed in the house or taught many manners, but this boy is so eager to please you and be a part of the family. He loves spending as much time inside as out. He has learned to use a dog door. He is affectionate, without being pushy. He is playful and adventurous outside, and calm inside. He walks pretty well on leash, and rides nicely in a car.

He gets along well with the dogs he's met at his foster home - a young playful male and a energetic alpha female, and would probably enjoy the company of a similar dog, but Bud does like to play rough. He cannot go to a home with cats, and is a little too large for a home with very small children, but otherwise has been very good with all the people he's met.

Bud is a happy, easy-going guy wth a big heart and lots of love to give.
