Caitlin

Caitlin is a 5 month old female. She was an unclaimed stray from the Merced shelter, so nothing is known of her background.

Caitlin is the typical puppy - playing roughly with her foster brothers one minute and sleeping the next. She has quickly learned that cats are to be given their space, but will chase them if she is in a particularly playful mood. She can be vocal when playing or to get her way, but will quiet when told. Once she understands what is expected of her, she is happy to oblige (especially if treats are the reward).

She has a moderate energy level and loves car rides and exploring new places. She walks politely by her foster mom when out and about. At home, she sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and is learning other house manners.

With continued socialization of new things and people, Caitlin will continue to develop into a confident dog. She is looking for a home with a male dog as a companion.
