Carlson

Carlson is a 2 year old medium sized male from the Modesto Shelter. He came into the shelter as an unclaimed stray and had a bite wound to his leg that broke one of the bones. He is currently waiting to have surgery to repair the break, while infection from the bite is getting under control.

He is a very friendly boy who has like everyone he has met thus far, and has been very gentle when meeting small children. Carlson is a little hesitant when meeting other dogs, especially other male dogs, but once he knows them, is much more relaxed. He is currently living in a foster home with 7 other dogs, but his playtime with them is somewhat restricted due to his leg injury.

Carlson is very easy to handle, and a very good patient when his leg wrap has to be changed. He has a willingness to please his person, and does not want to be in trouble.

Unknown how he would be with cats or other small furry critters.
