Danno

Danno is a very handsome boy with classic black and tan markings. He's around 2 years old, and good-sized, around 85 pounds. Danno came to us out of the Sacramento SPCA, nothing is known about his background.

This nice boy is mild-mannered for his size, and has a moderate energy level. He's almost housebroken and has good house manners. He knows Sit and is learning how to Stay. Danno has some puppy behaviors but he is very smart and can learn to be a great dog with a family that is willing to take the time to teach him.

He's a very clever boy - if his foster mom forgets to lock the back door after putting him out, he will let himself right back in the house! He loves to go for walks, and he walks great on leash and doesn't pull. While he's not an attention hog, he enjoys getting brushed, scratched and loved. He is just as happy sitting with his foster family or laying by the door.

So far, Danno gets along with the small dog in his foster home. He does chase the cat if the cat runs, but completely ignores it if it's only walking or staying still. At this point, it's unknown how he is with young children, but does well with older children/teenagers. Danno would do great with an active senior or a home with older children.

He is in the Sacramento area will be at the Rancho Cordova Adoption Days.
