Dario

Dario is a 4 month old, male German Shepherd mix with black and tan coloring. He is a very nice boy who came to us from the shelter so nothing is known of his background other than he was previously severely neglected. He and his two siblings were all in pretty bad shape when they were found. After some tender loving care and a good foster family, he has come out of his shell and has learned that people are awesome. The first few days he'd run away if someone reached down to pet him, but now he happily greets people (and children). A good belly rub is one of his favorite forms of attention.

Dario is being fostered with two other large dogs and he loves to jump on them to get them to play. He is still somewhat unsure in new surroundings.

Dario walks well on leash, knows sit/down/leave it, and is potty trained. He sleeps loose and doesn't have any issues at night. He's learning that he won't get pet until he calms down and sits. He's been a very easy puppy. Dario can probably learn to live with small dogs and cats, but has not been tested.

Continued training and socialization are a must for any pup, but especially for one that had an initial rough start in life.
