Deeks

Deeks is a 18-24 month old black and tan bicolor German Shepherd. He is a compact guy weighing in at about 65 lbs. Deeks was a neighbor surrender at a Sacramento area shelter, when his owners moved and left him in the yard.

Deeks is a charming youngster that loves people, he is quite sure he is a lap dog, trying to sneak up onto your lap when he has a chance. He has gotten along with the large male and female dogs in his foster home. It is unknown how he is with small dogs or cats.

Deeks, doesn't have much in the way of formal training, but this medium energy boy loves to please. He is eager to learn, and will turn into an awesome dog with continued training and socialization.

Deeks would love to be in a home that will include him in daily activities. He rides nicely in the car, and sleeps quietly in a crate at night. Deeks would probably be fine as an only dog, or with a dog buddy to play with. When fostered together, Callen was his best buddy.
