EclipseEclipse Head

Eclipse is a charming petite female, with a lovely black coat. At about 18-24 months old this little girl is about full grown and only weighs in at 48 pounds. But don't let her size fool you. This girl can keep up with the big boys in her foster home. Eclipse and another rescue dog, Phantom, were picked up together as strays in the Modesto area so nothing is known about her background.

Eclipse is a very expressive young lady. Every day when her foster parents get home from work, and let her out of the kennel, she has to tell them about her entire day. She generally has quite a bit to say, and will keep telling you all about it until she has a few minutes of your undivided attention. Eclipse gets along with all of the male and female dogs in her foster home. She is very playful, and likes to rough-house with the big boys. She has not had an accident in her foster home, and when inside in the evenings, settles nicely on a bed next to her person. At night she sleeps quietly in a crate.

While it does not seem Eclipse has had any formal training, she is quickly learning some basic commands, and naturally walks beside you on leash without prompting. She will still jump up a little, but is learning to stay down and sit when she wants attention.

Eclipse would like a home that will continue her training and socialization, and include her in daily activities. She will a great dog for the family that is willing to put some time and energy into her.
