Ellie

Ellie is a 7-8 month old black and tan GSD cutie who was an owner surrender to a Sacramento area shelter when a child in the home became very allergic to her.

Ellie loves to be with people and is very social, although occasionally submissively urinates when she becomes excited as many puppies do. She gets along well with other dogs, living in a foster home with two other german shepherds. Although Ellie has not been around any cats, she is still young enough she might be able to learn to live with them.

She settles well in her crate and rides well in the car. Potty training is a work in progress, she knows it for the most part but can have accidents. She knows basic commands such a sit, down, and stay. Ellie walks well on lead using a mini-pinch collar otherwise she pulls as is expected with a puppy. She loves water and chasing and retrieving balls. She has a protective instinct and big girl bark.

Ellie requires a home that will continue her obedience and socialization.
