EnzoEnzo Head

Enzo originally came into our program as a puppy in late 2011. He was adopted by a woman who is now taking care of a family member out of the area and doesn't have the time to devote to him and therefore was returned to us so we could find a home where someone would exercise him properly as well as continue his socialization and training.

Enzo is now about 1.5 years, a classic black and tan male weighing in at about 75 lbs. He is housebroken, settles easily into his crate at night, also rides nicely in the car. Enzo has gotten along with the other dogs he has met so far, and grew up in a home with cats. He does have typical adolescent behavior, he likes to play with the ball, but can be mouthy, so care needs to be taken with youngsters.

Enzo would like a home where he is included in daily activities. He wouldn't mind a play buddy, but it is not required.

Original bio and pictures:

Enzo is a four month old puppy surrendered by his owner when she was no longer able to care for him. Even though Enzo was an outdoor only dog in his previous home and not socialized, he is doing great in his foster home and is enjoying his new indoor life and playing with all of the resident adult dogs.

This energetic pup loves to chase toys, play ball and play tug wtih anything he can find. He is currently curious about cats, and could possibly live with one, but supervision would be needed as this boy grows up. After a minute or two of whining, Enzo settles easily into his crate at night, he also rides nicely in the car. While he is probably not housebroken yet, Enzo is good about waiting to go outside.
