EvaEva Head

Eva is a 2-3 year old bicolor female. This poor girl was given up to the shelter when she starting losing weight and hair. As it turns out, all she had was a flea allergy that had turned into a fairly severe skin infection, as well as an upper respiratory infection. After a couple weeks of antibiotics this beauty is looking and feeling better. She will be gorgeous once all of her hair grows back.

Eva gets along with all of the large dogs in her foster home, after a proper introduction. She has high prey drive so should not go to a home with cats or other small furry critters. Livestock is probably not a good idea either. She focuses on just about anything that moves when we are out on walks. Eva can be a little possessive with her people and is learning that she is not allowed to grumble at an approaching dog when she is getting attention. Eva could probably do well as only dog, or with a large male dog companion.

Eva rides nicely in the car, is crate trained and will enter her crate at night on command. She is easy to have in the house, and knows some basic commands. Eva walks nicely on a leash until she sees other animals, and then she gets excited and tries to pull. She is learning to stay in a heal position no matter what is around her. She is also doing well on her trips to the pet store and home depot.

Eva would like a home that will include her in daily activities and continue to socialize and train her. She would also probably be great for a family that wanted to do something with her drive and focus.

NO CATS, SMALL FURRY CRITTERS, OR LIVESTOCK
