Fandango

Fandango is a gorgeous 3 year old long-coat GSD who was an owner-surrender to the Sacramento SPCA. He is very underweight and is currently recovering from pneumonia, but that doesn't stop this handsome boy from having a great time! He is slowly gaining his strength back and we are seeing his true, fun-loving personality! This big boy just wants a loving family to play with him!

Fandango is a very sweet, affectionate boy with medium to high energy at times. He has gotten along with all dogs he has met thus far, but is a little unsure of how to play with them. He walks very well on leash, and loves to be with his people at all times. He has been sleeping in a crate at night, and although at first he howls, he does eventually settle down and sleep quietly. He loves to roll around in the grass, play in the sprinklers and play with his kong toy!

From what we know of his background he used to live with cats, but he does seem to have a high prey drive as he likes to chase them in his foster home, and has not been allowed off leash around them just yet. However, he does not seem to show aggression towards them, so with correction he could live in a home with cats. In his previous home, he also lived with 7-14 year old children.

Fandango is a very sweet, handsome and loving boy who would definitely enjoy having a fellow canine playmate to have around!
