Frieda

Frieda is a medium-sized, beautiful, silver sable female between 1 and 2 years old. She was an unclaimed stray from the Modesto shelter. She had recently had a litter when she showed up at the shelter. She has medium energy, a soft disposition, and a very soft short coat. She is housebroken, crate-trained, learning basic commands, rides well in a car, and does okay on a leash. She will need continued work in her forever home. She does fancy a good pairs of shoes, so plenty of proper chewy things will be needed and she will dig in the yard if left unattended. She can be a little timid and does not like harsh corrections or loud noises. A firm, yet soft, leader is the ticket for this girl.

Frieda has gotten along with all the dogs she has met so far, both male and female. She likes to play rough with her foster packmates outside, but would prefer to be a lap dog in the house. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats for this girl. It is unknown how she is around children at this time. This House Princess would do well as an only dog or with another medium-sized playmate. She would like to be in a moderately active home on the quieter side where she could cuddle with her people and be included in their daily activities.

NO CATS!
