Granger

Granger is a gorgeous, 4 year old male who was surrendered by his owners when they could no longer afford him. He is a sleek, black and tan bicolor who has adapted to his foster home in the hills and would make a great hiking, running or biking companion.

Granger is comfortable with the both the male and female resident dogs in his foster home, and has gotten along with all of the people and dogs he has met so far. He previously had a small dog and indoor cat in his household, so may be able to live with small creatures if properly introduced and carefully supervised. He will chase after an outdoor cat that runs, however.

Granger is intelligent and has some obedience under his belt, but would benefit from a refresher and will need ongoing maintenance. Granger Comes when called, Sits for his meals, knows to Leave It. He rides in a vehicle, walks nicely on and off leash, and sleeps quietly in a crate at night. He loves to play ball, and gets equally excited when the car keys come out. This energetic boy loves to go, go, go and would do well with an active person or family to satisfy his energy level.
