Halko

Halko is a beautiful 5 month old Bi-Color male puppy, with a very soft and shiny black coat, and he currently weighs about 42 lbs. He came from a Modesto area shelter so nothing is known about his background.

He is a very smart boy, who has learned some basic commands already. He is crate-trained, house broken and loves to ride in the care. He walks nicely on a leash, but needs some gentle corrections to keep him from being distracted by passing cars, people, dogs, butterflies, etc.

Halko seems to have had limited exposure to the outside world. Everything new is greeted with a hefty bark that is much larger than his size would suggest. He is a very affectionate boy and loves to give kisses.

He has a high ball drive, and will chase and retrieve his ball for hours if his humans are inclined to play that long. He gets along well with the other large female and male GSD's in the house. He loves to play rough and tumble with them, and can certainly hold his own.

Halko requires a home that will continue his socialization and training, and will include him in daily activities.
