Hillary

Hillary is a petite, black and tan girl approximately 2 years old. She was an unclaimed stray from the Modesto shelter so her background is unknown.

She is housebroken, does pretty well on a leash, rides nicely in a car, and is crate-trained. She is kissy and very clingy. She doesn't like being away from her people at all. If left outside, she can and has jumped a 6' fence to go around and knock at the front door. So a home with a doggy door would be nice for this girl. She alarm barks when it is appropriate and has very nice house manners.

Hillary gets along well with all the dogs in her foster home, both male and female. She prefers people, but will join in the daily roughhousing with the other dogs now and then. She has shown interest in the resident cat, but doesn't show a high prey drive. It is unknown how she is with children at this time.

The ideal home for this girl would a moderately active family with someone home most of the time or that she could go with and hang out. If left alone, she would do best with another male dog to keep her company.
