Isabella
Isabella is a cute youngster around 9-10 months old, with a lovely plush coat and weighing in at around 45-50 pounds. She was an unclaimed stray out of the Turlock shelter so we have no background on her. We have a short video of her while still in the shelter, right before we brought her into the program:
Isabella has a sweet temperament and is fairly relaxed for such a young girl. She's housebroken and sleeps great in the crate at night. She rides well in a car but needs to be helped in when she puts on the brakes at the car door. She gets along well with both the male and female resident GSDs and doesn't realize how much smaller she is!
She was initially very protective of her food bowl, but can now eat in the same room as the other 2 dogs. She has a constantly wagging tail and loves any attention she can get! She is very interested in the resident cats but does not chase them, just sniffs them A LOT! She has no leash manners and will really pull while on walks unless she's on a prong collar. She is learning to Sit, Stay, Down, and Come when told, but will Sit for food and Come to a whistle unless she thinks she's in trouble.
