Jett

Jett is a gorgeous 2 year old black male with huge bear paws. He probably weighs in at about 78 lbs, and will probably fill out to be around 85 lbs. Not much is known about him as he was an unclaimed stray from the Modesto area.

New to our program, we are still getting to know Jett, but so far he is pretty good on a leash and seems to know basic commands because he follows them when he is not given the choice not to. He seems to know sit, stay and heel. So far he seems to be house trained and gets along with other large dogs, both male and female. Jett rides well in the car but does not do well being left alone in a car, so crating is necessary if he is to be left in a vehicle unsupervised.

Jett has gotten along with all of the humans he has met so far, but care will need to be taken with small children as he has no idea how large he is.

Jett would like a home that will include him in daily activities. He would like another dog to hang out with, and someone to continue his socialization and training.
