Kensi

Kensi is an large, gorgeous, black and tan beauty around 18 months old, and weighing in at almost 80 lbs. She was given up by her owners when they lost their home. Kensi is a total sweetheart, and has loved every human she has met so far. She likes to lean against you and cuddle. She would probably be a lap dog if she could fit. Kensi is an active girl and loves a daily walk or run, a selection of dog toys, and an occasional beef marrow bone.

Kensi is housebroken, crate-trained, and is a good listener with house manner reminders. She is eager to please and a quick study, so formal training will be a breeze for the right person who is willing to invest the time and energy in this girl.

Kensi is learning to appropriately greet new dogs. She is ok being around them as long as they are not in her space, then her first inclination is to snarl at them. Kensi is quickly learning that this is unacceptable behavior. Once she gets to know a dog, she likes to run and play and chase, but proper introductions must be done. Kensi does better with male dogs than female ones.

Kensi displayed much interest in the cats in the neighborhood, treeing a couple of them, so no cats for this girl.
