Kiwi

Kiwi is a small, but stout, mostly-GSD girl between 2-3 years old. She was unclaimed from the Modesto shelter. She has a short black and tan coat with white trim on her chest and toes with a stubby tail that is always wagging.

Kiwi is housebroken, does okay in a crate, rides well in the car, is okay on a leash, and has very nice house manners. She's a very obedient and clever girl, she knows tricks, and is good with people of all sizes so far.

She gets along with other dogs, both male and female, in her foster homes, but she does show signs of being a dominant female and likes to play rough. She has a high prey drive, so cats and small critters are probably not in her future.

Kiwi can and has gone over a 6-7 foot fence when left unattended. She also digs to entertain herself when left alone. She is very smart and very intense. This moderate-energy House Princess would like to be in an active family home where she can be with her people on the go or curled up by their feet. Kiwi should be okay as an only dog or with a male playmate of comparable size.

NO CATS or CRITTERS.
