Mika Sue

Mika Sue is a female of 2 - 3 years, she has a smooth coat that is a black and cream color, and an adorable face with loving eyes. She is from a local area shelter so nothing is known about her background.

It appears Mika Sue was a whelping dog that had multiple litters of pups, with little interaction to anything else. Mika Sue passed her evaluation at the shelter although, she was very shy and had to be picked up from her kennel and taken outside. Mika Sue will retreat to her crate for safety and at times go to the ground when presented with new situations however, she doesn't show any signs of fearfulness of aggressive behavior. With slow introduction in a calm household she has begun to open up and show improvement and learning what the world is about. Mika is tolerant of the dogs in her foster home but is not sure how to play with them.

She walks fairly well on a leash and rides nicely in the car.

Mika Sue will do best with a person who has experience with a shy dog, able to give her overall exposure to a meaningful life.
