MimiMimi Head

Mimi is a 10 month old, petite girl who was turned in to the Modesto Shelter by her owner. At the shelter she was reactive to other dogs while she was in her kennel, but now in a foster home, she plays with all the other dogs her size and larger appropriately. Mimi has high prey drive and views small dogs as a possible snack. Needless to say, she will not be placed in a home with small dogs, cats or other small furry critters.

She is very friendly with everyone she has met thus far, and will lie down at your feet when in the house. She has a good recall, and walks on the leash pretty well. She has an interest in balls, and with a little time may be quite the retriever. She enjoys swimming in the pond, and doesn't stray very far away from her person while on walks.

Mimi sleeps quietly in her crate all night, and appears to be housebroken. She has not experienced very many car rides, and is still learning to like them. She needs some coaxing to get in the car, and sits very still when the car is moving.

Mimi will need an experienced owner who understands leadership, boundaries and training, as she needs to be kept busy and mentally challenged on a regular basis, or she will become frustrated. She walks well on the treadmill, and trots along side the quad runner like a pro. She is easy to train, and she is always looking for a task to do.

NO CATS, SMALL DOGS or CRITTERS.

This is a Level 3 Dog. Please be sure you understand what this level of dog requires.
