Molly May Molly May 2012 Head

Molly May is a wiggle-butt happy, sweet and affectionate small 3 year old female, of unknown DNA. She appears to be at least partly Belgian Malinois.

Molly May is extremely well trained, very obedient, corrects easily, and is perfectly house-trained. She is a turn-key pet ready to fit into a family where ever she goes. Molly May likes children and does well with them, sitting automatically to be patted, and giving lots of kisses.

Molly May has great house manners, settles quietly on her bed when she goes indoors, and is crate trained. Outdoors, she loves to play fetch, and brings the ball right back to her human's feet in a blur; we have yet to find out how many ball tosses it would take to bore her with the game.

She gets along beautifully with all other dogs, completely uninterested in squabbling. Though curious about the two resident cats in her foster home, she is good with them, respectful, and corrects easily with a hiss or raised paw from the cat, or a single word from her human.

Molly May has been going to work with her foster human, where she rests quietly and unobtrusively all day by the desk. She rides perfectly in a car, no fussing, no carsickness, and is a convenient "take along" size.

This is a Level 2 Dog

Original bio and pictures, June 2009:

Molly May is an adorable 5 month old Belgian Malinois puppy. She's a 20-pound golden fireball of wiggles and kisses. She was an unclaimed stray at Merced and her time was up, so we grabbed her.

She's a typical Mali puppy -- sweet, sassy, feisty and fearless. She loves nothing more than a good back-scratchin' roll in the grass, and to take on the big boys in play. She gives as good as she gets, and won't hesitate to tell big dogs to back off if they get too rough. While she loves to play with other dogs, she's definitely going to grow up to be a very bossy girl with other dogs. She's very sweet with people on the whole, although she loves to come charging in with both front feet up.

Little Miss Molly May doesn't have much in the way of house manners and she's not housebroken yet, but she's quick to learn and easy to correct. She is just getting to know about cats, she had never met them before going to her foster home.

Molly May needs a home with other dogs to keep her socialized, and people who will keep her busy and well-trained. In return, she'll be a dynamite companion for life.
