Monte

Monte is a 12-18 month old male GSD. He may have a dash of husky in him which would explain his plush coat and smaller frame. He was picked up as a stray by a local shelter after he was found hanging out with elementary school kids before school started one day.

Monte loves other dogs, big and small, and is good with dog-savvy cats. He greets the cats nicely but he wants to chase them once they start moving. Once corrected, he stops. Monte appears to have had no training and had been an outdoor only dog. He is learning quickly to walk on a leash and how to sit. He rides nicely in the car.

Monte would be best suited from a home with another dog to play with and someone who will continue his socialization and training.
