NatashaNatasha Head

Natasha is a sweet and pretty 3 year old female weighing about 60 lbs. She was owner surrendered to a Sacramento shelter. She is friendly toward people, loves walks and car rides. A very affectionate girl, she will give little kisses, likes her pets, and will quickly roll over for a nice belly rub. She loves being with her people and is a little shadow in the house.

She is a fast learner and wants to please. During her walks, she is learning to heel quickly, now requiring only occasional corrections via voice or a gentle reminder tug on leash--making her a joy to walk. She is learning not to jump up, that counter surfing is not allowed, and mouthiness is not how we play. Because of this, she probably would not be good with small children. So far, she appears to be house-broken, successfully using an open door to go outside.

She needs continued socialization as under the stress of being moved around, she started being reactive to other dogs. However, she is responsive to corrections, is progressing quickly, and just needs continued practice. She does have a lot of energy and it appears she might enjoy a playmate. She will chase a ball but wants to play keep away, rather than bring it back. She knows sit and down and loves to do these commands for treats. She goes right in her crate at night and is quiet throughout the night.

Unknown how she is with cats.
