Nerissa

Nerissa is a female all-black long coat, approximately 3-4 years of age and weighing 88 lbs. She was a stray from a Yolo county shelter, found with Havi and a Rottweiller, but no other information is known about her past.

She has a calm, mature demeanor with moderate energy to low energy. She does well around most other dogs, when introduced properly. Introductions to other dogs have been more successful when Nerissa is not tethered or confined. Her behavior is unknown around small dogs. Nerissa needs supervision until she becomes fully housebroken. She is crate trained, although does well sleeping on a dog bed. She otherwise has excellent house manners, walks very well on a leash, and loves any chance to ride in the car.

Nerissa will make a great companion for a home willing to continue her training and socialization.
