Priam

Priam is a handsome, 18-24 month old, black and tan male. He was an unclaimed stray from the Modesto shelter so nothing is known about his background. He seemed a little unsure at the shelter, however once removed from the shelter it became evident that he was dog reactive when leashed.

Priam is doing a good job of learning how to fit into a pack of 3 other confident males. He's learning that it's not okay to jump on you in his eagerness to greet you. He understands Sit and is still learning what Down and Stay mean. He sits nicely for his food, and learning not to go the other dog bowls during feeding.

He is okay jogging next to a bike, and rides well in a vehicle. He does well walking on leash but still needs continued work. He probably would not do well in a home with cats. A fairly active home with strong leadership is the ideal home for Priam.
