Remo now RenoRemo Who Shot the Sheriff?

Adopted 1/7/12!

Remo is a wonderfully sweet, large boy who was adopted out and returned to us in December 2011 when his family lost their home and had to move. He's about as easy-going as a big male GSD can be, and will easily fit into just about any family. His former adopters said about him:

"Reno is a wonderful family dog. He is not a watch or guard dog. He almost never barks and everyone is greeted with a wagging tail. His best friend and snuggle buddy is our cat, Lucy."

Remo is now about 4-5 years old and grew up into a good-sized, mellow guy, who greets everyone with a happy smile, a wagging tail, and seems to get along with everyone he's met so far.

Original bio:

Remo is a handsome, young male, 18-24 months old, in a black & tan coat with airplane ears that stand out, not up. He's a medium sized boy at around 80 lbs, and is a lower energy kinda guy who loves to just hang around and lounge at your feet.

Remo is housebroken, crated-trained, knows most of his obedience commands, and walks well on a leash. He likes the other people and dogs he's met so far. He shows a mild interest in cats, but is willing to call off and could be easily trained to leave them alone by an experienced handler.

He can be timid in new situations but recovers quickly with good leadership. He needs more experience out in the world, but is a very nice boy overall. He's looking for a moderate energy home, preferably with another dog, and will benefit from continued obedience training.
