Sonic

Sonic is an adorable, calm, 55 pound, 7-8 month old male youngster, with ears that fall into each other most of the time and is still growing. He was an owner surrender to a Sacramento area shelter when his owners said they didn't have time for him. They had only had him two months, and had left him outside full time. We don't know where Sonic was before that.

Sonic is currently in a foster home which has someone home most of the time. There are two other German Shepherds in the foster home and Sonic gets along well with both dogs and has been submissive in his behavior around them. He shadows the volunteer around the house and is sweet and very affectionate. He has not had an accident in his foster home.

Sonic has moderate energy and, so far, has not chewed anything or dug holes. He does like to steal toilet paper, but just for the fun of it. It is unknown how Sonic would be with small children, cats or small critters, but being young and submissive he could possibly learn to live well in many situations. Obedience training and continued socialization will benefit Sonic. He would also do best in a home with regular human and/or canine companionship.
