Zuko

Zuko is a 12 to 18 month old Malinois who was surrendered to a Sacramento area shelter when the owner had no time to train or devote to him. He is a slender male with long legs that can propel him 4 feet off the ground when he is excited. Zuko is very affectionate and can be a bit pushy by insisting on getting his head scratched by any available hand. If he feels ignored, you may also get a paw on your leg to remind you he is near and ready for a good petting.

Although he was outside for a good amount of time before coming into rescue, he has developed decent house manners and has not had an accident in his current foster home. He sleeps in a crate at night, and settle fairly well on his dog bed in the living room during the day.

Zuko is looking for a very active home that will meet his exercise needs, and a home without small children, as he can be a little mouthy when excited. A home with another young active dog who likes to play rough would also be desirable. Zuko needs continued basic training and socialization to develop to his full potential as an amazing companion dog.
