Arlen is a 9-year-old, black and tan gentleman who is looking for his forever home. This sweet boy was adopted and has spent his last several years living in a home, but due to no fault of his own, he has once again landed in Rescue.

If you are looking for a turn-key dog that is ready to become a cherished family member, Arlen is your guy. He is a very laid back, relaxed dog. He is currently living in a foster home with 3 other German Shepherds and several cats, and Arlen fits right in with the rest of the pack. He loves the company of his foster mom and is happy hanging out wherever he can he near her. He can be a bit needy, but can you blame the poor guy? He just wants a comfortable home for his last years and he’s still waiting!

Arlen loves to go on car rides and is a perfect gentleman when he’s out and about at dog friendly restaurants and stores. He uses a doggie door to go outside, and while he is crate trained, he can also be trusted to sleep loose in the house. He is left home with inside/outside access when his foster mom is at work, and he hangs with the other dogs and stays out of trouble on those long workdays!  He even sits patiently while being bathed and brushed! What more could one want in a four-legged companion! Arlen is sure to make some lucky person a very happy dog parent!  Who can resist the gentle head bumps asking for pats and the quiet companionship Arlen has to offer!
