Mystic is a 7 month old female with a plush black coat. She came to us from a local shelter so nothing is known about her background prior to coming to us around 6 months old.
Mystic currently lives in a house with two other shepherds, including another foster, Elvira. She loves to play with Elvira but is happy to simply coexist with the resident male in the home if he doesn’t want to engage in play time. Mystic is a bit insecure and unsure of the world around her but with stability, socialization, and the help of the other more confident dogs in her home, she has come a long way in a short time.
Mystic is now housebroken with the use of a doggie door and may be okay without constant access as she has also gotten better at signaling when she needs to go outside. She sleeps nicely in a crate at night in her foster mom’s bedroom and will signal the need for a potty or water break if it occurs before it’s time to get up for the day.
Mystic is eager to please and wants all the love and attention her people will gives her. She is still a puppy in many ways and is still learning not to jump or chew on items beyond her toys but she is easily corrected. Mystic also walks very nicely on leash when out for walks. She may not always be certain when coming across other dogs while out but she is certainly learning how to nicely meet and greet other dogs while out.
Mystic would do best in a home with another confident male dog and a family that will help continue her training and socialization to ensure she is able to continue the progress she has made so far.
This is a level 2 dog.
