Aspen, at approximately 2 years old, is a sweet young girl.  She has a gentle nature & loves to be around her foster parents.  She acclimated immediately to the 3 male GSDs in her foster home & plays with them at every opportunity.  At over 90 lbs., Aspen needs to lose 15-20 lbs. She gets excited when it’s time for her morning walk & will need to continue with a daily exercise regimen.  Fortunately, she is game for any adventure.  Easy to handle on leash & with a desire to please, she is an easy dog to have around & take anywhere. We suspect she gained excessive weight through lack of exercise & being fed people food scraps.  As we discovered, keeping the pantry door closed is a must.  Though not tested, she may do well with a dog savvy cat as she seems disinterested in chasing squirrels and lizards with her foster pack.  If you’re looking for an easygoing, loveable & affectionate addition to your family, sweet, beautiful Aspen is your girl.
