Pocus is an adorable puppy at approximately 3 months old. She came to us with her sister Hocus. They now live in separate foster homes and are learning to bond and play with the other dogs in their respective homes.
Pocus is like most puppies in that she is learning about the world around her and how to behave.
Pocus has a mind of her own and is quite independent. She quickly figured out how to use the dog door and will let herself back inside even when everyone else is hanging out in the yard for playtime. She often doesn’t stay inside by herself or too long though since she prefers to spend time with her people.
Pocus enjoys the company of the other shepherds in her home but isn’t up for the rough and tumble play style yet. For now she is content to chase after them or just lay down in a small space where she feels safe from all the tumbling.
Pocus is learning to walk on leash but often gets tangled up in the leashes when out with the other dogs. She is also getting used to being in a crate at night for sleeping but doesn’t appreciate being left alone. She also rides nicely in the car.
Pocus is looking for a forever home, preferably with another male dog, that can teach her the ropes and help her grow into the well behaved and nicely socialized dog that she could be.
It is unknown how she will do with cats and other critters.
