Leroy is a young, handsome sable male (almost one years old). He was found with his deceased sibling out in the middle of nowhere by a good Samaritan and taken in and surrendered to our group. He was underweight initially, but now is a very healthy weight at 73 lbs..
Leroy was living with 2 large female dogs and cats. He ignore the cats and actually seemed a little afraid of them. He is learning from the two female dogs how to play appropriately. He really wants to participate in the fun, but just isn’t quite sure yet how to go about that. He is now in a foster home with a female GSD mix and does well.
Leroy can be a bit of a talker and drama queen. He is learning that proper behavior is rewarded, whining and brat fits are ignored by his humans.
Leroy will need a home with an adult dog to help him learn all about being a dog. He will need training and socialization with different sites, sounds, smells, and exposure to lots of different people of all ages and sizes.
